Meetings are typically held in the Community Room of the Jackson County Library, every second Thursday, at 6:00 p.m. All JCGS events are free and open to the public.
| Saturday, July 13 11:00am Society Picnic We will start gathering about 11:00 AM with a covered dish lunch starting around 12:30 PM. So be sure to bring your favorite dish or dishes. We hope to have musicians and singers after lunch as well as presentations about the history of the Savannah community and remembrances of some of its citizens. A 50/50 raffle is also planned with cake auctions and forms for ordering the reprint of the Jackson County Heritage books will be available. There is a playground near the picnic shelter so bring the whole family.
