Meetings are typically held in the Community Room of the Jackson County Library, every second Thursday, at 6:00 p.m. All JCGS events are free and open to the public.

The Jackson County Genealogical Society’s December meeting will be our annual Christmas party and awards program. It will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Scotts Creek Baptist Church at 5:30 PM on Thursday December 11, 2025.
The meeting is open to anyone that would like to attend. The Society will provide chicken and drinks. Attendee’s are asked to bring side dishes and desserts. A program of seasonal music will be provided by Curtis Blanton and friends. And you may even get to talk about your genealogy with Bill Crawford.
